Chevy Motors, a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation was first established in the year 1911; the dream-child of Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant, the Chevy Motor's Corporation was introducing vehicles to the automobile industry as early as 1912. Currently one of the largest manufacturers of trucks and automobiles, they have a motto of "A Revolution", as a way for expressing the company's aggressive approach to automobile manufacturing. The current headquarters are located in Detroit Michigan in the United States.
In the '20s, the Chevy Motor Car Corporation was producing and selling more vehicles than other auto manufacturers, and in the early '30s the company pioneered the independent suspension. In the '50s, they manufactured the popular Corvette; in the 60s the company made the Camaro; in the '70s, they introduced the Chevy Malibu and the Caprice. The 80's proved successful for them as well as they continued to make trucks and SUVs and other vehicles.
