The second generation of the BMW X5 is coveted by many drivers; manufactured in South Carolina, the X5 is part of the BMW 5 series originally started in 1999. The winner of several automotive awards, this SUV luxury crossover has five doors and seating for seven people. Available with a 3.0 Liter V-8 engine or a 4.87 Liter V-8 engine, the X5 comes with iDrive technology. Numerous safety features have been installed including an array of airbags, traction and corner controls, restraint systems, and a sturdy body shell construction. Complete with an automatic tailgate, and an optional head up display, it is also manufactured with run flat tires, thereby saving the driver from having to change a flat tire on the roadside. The Run Flat tires on the X5 contain a layer of steel that allows the driver to continue on a flat until they reach a safe destination to change the flat tire."
