The sleek and stylish Buick Terraza minivan was released for the first time in the 2005 model year, and was the first American released minivan, and the successor of the discontinued Oldsmobile Silhouette. Because of the slow sales of minivans in general, General Motors has decided to discontinue their minivan lines and are replacing them with the Buick Enclave SUV.
The Buick Terraza, which will be sold through the 2007 model year, was released with a 3.5 L V6 engine, with the option for a 3.9 L V6 released in 2006 and the 3.5 L option removed for the 2007 model. This minivan may have been a victim of the discontinuation of the minivan lines in GM, however it is still a quality vehicle available in both the standard CX model and the more upgraded CXL model, but not for much longer.
