Ryan Nagode has designed the second generation Dodge Avenger manufactured by DiamlerChrysler: a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art's Industrial Design Program in 2003. The Dodge Avenger is related to similar preceding vehicles like the Chrysler Sebring, the Dodge Caliber, the Jeep Compass, the Jeep Patriot, the Mitsubishi Lancer, and the Mitsubishi Outlander and is classified as a midsize vehicle. Originally engineered to replace the Stratus, the Avenger is a sedan, and has a JS platform.
The standard model has a 140 amp alternator, a 525 amp battery, sports the Electronic Stability Program for safer manoeuvrability, traction control and antilock 4 wheel disc brakes. Child seat anchorage and airbags are installed and the car also has a theft deterrent system. Finally, the Dodge Avenger has a gas tank that holds up to 16.9 gallons of gas, a tilt telescope steering column, and the interior seating is stain resistant.
