The Dodge Charger puts an old name on completely new vehicle. The 2007 Charger offers drivers a wide range of engine choices. It has two V-6 engines, one that is 2.7 liters and one that is 3.5 liters. They create 200 hp and 250 hp respectively. The 5.7 Hemi V-8 engine creates 350 hp and can go from 0 to 60 in under 6 seconds. The most powerful engine is the 6.1-liter V-8, which creates 425 hp. All models feature automatic transmissions, and it receives up to 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

The Charger has an assertive look about it. It has a front end boasting a bold crossbar design with little flaring at the wheels. While it has the functionality of a sedan, it has the look of a sports car, making it popular with young families. According to Dodge, the Charger has a front-to-rear weight distribution of 50/50. With antilock breaks and electronic stability programs included standard, the vehicle has plenty of safety features as well as great looks and handling.
