This crossover SUV from Ford fits in the mid-sized range. The debut of the Edge came in 2006, and was designed to cover the vehicle need between the minivan and the truck like SUV. It is not a true off road vehicle, for truly rugged terrain and will deliver MPG in the mid twenties range. The Ford Edge is a 5-door SUV, which comes with all wheel drive or front wheel drive. The acceptance of this Ford model has been successful during the first part of the 2007 rollout and it was also announced that in 2010 they will introduce a hybrid electric-gas Edge model. This Ford bridge SUV is stylish in appearance and comfortable to drive. The reviews while mostly positive are not over whelming in oohs and aahs. People like the value they received when purchasing this mid-sized SUV."
