The Hummer H3 was first introduced in 2006, and has more off-road capability than almost any other mid-size SUV. The manufacturer offers this vehicle in two models, the H3 and the more luxurious H3X. Both models were built with a Vortec? 3500 3.5 liter, 5-cylinder engine with 4-wheel drive, and they are available in either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic.
In 2007, the company introduced a Vortec? 3700, 3.7 liter engine. All Hummer H3's are backed by GM's 5-year/100,000 mile transferable power train warranty. The manufacturer offers a standard StabiliTrak traction control system, oil life monitors, and various safety features to include dual air bags and optional side air bags. The front and rear suspensions contain mono-tube, gas-charged shocks, and stabilizer bars. With an estimated 20 mpg, and full underbody protection, the Hummer H3 is the perfect vehicle for a daily commute or an unpaved adventure!
