Rated best in overall value in a compact and for having the most interior space in its class, the Hyundai Accent was introduced in 1995. Replacing the Excel, the new model has more interior space, better fuel economy, and a more sophisticated suspension system. The vehicles are available in three different styles: GS, SE, and GLS. The GS and SE are 3-door hatchbacks, and the GLS is a sedan. All three models are equipped with air bags, some power accessories, and backed by a 5-year/60,000 mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000 mile drive train warranty.
These automobiles are manufactured in Shreveport, Louisiana for the North American buyers and are also produced worldwide to satisfy all markets. Equipped with a 1.6 liter, 4-cylinder engine for either manual or automatic transmission, the Hyundai Accent has an excellent fuel economy of 32-35 mpg. With all these features, the vehicle is a logical choice among budget sedans and 3-door hatchbacks.
