The Lexus IS350 is aerodynamically defined: it is manufactured with a low drag coefficient that, in turn, offers up a smooth, noiseless, and comfortable ride. Also derived from the aerodynamic design is a better overall fuel efficiency level; the IS350 offers a fuel efficiency of 21 miles per gallon in urban areas and 29 miles per gallon in suburban areas.
The IS350 emerged in the Lexus IS Series in 2006, one year after the emergence of the second generation IS250. The makers of the vehicle are none other than Lexus, a division of the Toyota Motors Co. In an effort to maintain a competitive edge in the industry, they introduced the IS line to meet the offers made by the BMW 3-Series. The IS350 improves vastly in terms of speed, what was previously offered by the iS250: it can reach 0-60 in just over five seconds which is an entire three second faster than its predecessor.
