The Mazda B-3000 is a single truck that is part of the much larger Mazda B series. The B-3000 has a number of predecessors before the truck's introduction. The very first B Series truck, the B1600, was manufactured in 1972, which was soon followed by the B1800: both vehicles were manufactured until 1979. Later came the B2000 in 1982, followed by the B2200, just two years later in 1984. Even later, the B2600 emerged. The B2300, B-3000, and the B-4000 followed the early B series trucks, when the fourth generation of trucks were manufactured. Now in its fifth generation of production, the pickup is still part of the Mazda truck line up, has a 3.0L Vulcan V-6 engine configuration, and a choice of transmissions: automatic or manual. Currently, the B-3000 is related to vehicles like the Ford Explorer, the Ford Explorer Sport Trac, the Ford Ranger, and the Mercury Mountaineer."
