Mazda B-4000 is a pickup truck with two levels of trim. A vehicle that is manufactured in the base and SE trim levels, the B-4000 has a 4.0 liter engine and a five speed automatic transmission. The body has a plus sized cab able to seat up to four passengers. Manufactured since the early '90s, the vehicle is now part of the fifth generation of B Series trucks offered by Mazda in North America.
The B-4000 was built in an effort to compete with vehicles being produced by Ford and Mercury. Preceded by a number of different B series trucks, the first ones were produced in 1994. The popularity of the truck ensured its continued production when the fifth generation of B series trucks emerged. Named after its engine displacement, the B4000 has a V-6 engine under the hood and the fuel efficiency of the vehicle 16 - 22 mpg.
