The M Class SUVs offered by Mercedes-Benz have room to seat up to 5 people. The ML350 comes with 17-inch alloy wheels standard, whereas the ML500 increases the wheel size to 18 inches. When the SUV has the right equipment, it can tow up to 5,000 lbs. The rear seat can split 60/40 to add cargo space. Without the seat folded, the SUV can hold 29.4 cubic feet. The wheelbase is 114.7 inches long.
The M Class offers a 3.0-liter V-6 diesel, the ML320. This engine creates up to 398 ft/lbs of torque and 221 hp. The gas engines include the ML350, a 3.5-liter V-6 creating 258 ft/lbs of torque and 268 hp; the ML500, a 5.0-liter V-8 creating 339 ft/lbs of torque and 302 hp; and the ML63 AMG, a 6.3-liter V-8 creating 465 ft/lbs of torque and 503 hp. Each engine is coupled with a 7-speed automatic and a 4-wheel drive driveline.
