The Mercedes Benz S-Class is the flagship luxury sedan of the brand. The four-door, five-passenger car was given a facelift in 2007 with more agile handling, and a new body design with slightly larger dimensions. The S-Class comes in S550 with 5.5L 32-valve V8 engine; S600 with 5.5L 36-valve bi-turbo V12 engine; S63 AMG with 6.3L DOHC 32-valve V8 engine, and S65 AMG with SOHC 36-valve bi-turbo V12 engine. While the V12 models are fitted with five-speed automatic transmission to manage the massive resultant torque, all V8 models have standard 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic transmission. The strength provided by the Mercedes Benz S-Class is balanced with safety systems like Brake Assist Plus that utilizes long- and short-range radar for averting collisions, and Night View Assist where infrared beams illuminate road space past the reach of headlight beams. Fine touches include a four-zone climate control and panoramic sun roof, as well as four level massages in leather upholstered front seats to ease muscle tension from extended journeys."
