The Quest minivan has fought to keep pace with the competitors in this niche market. In some cases the competitors have been quicker to change and move to what the public wanted in the minivan.
The Nissan Quest, first introduced in 1993, has had three distinct generations in its short 15-year history. There is a reported fourth generation coming in 2009. The minivan model has experienced a varied acceptance by the buying public. The designs have either been either well accepted or not liked at all. This black and white situation has been difficult for Quest to overcome even though the Nissan Motor Company has a very good reputation in the manufacturing of automobiles
The Quest is powered by a V6 engine and comes with four-door styling. The gas mileage is a slim 16/23 city and highway. This MPG seems a little low for a minivan.
