The Nissan Sentra started out as a compact car when first introduced in 1982 and over several generations has moved up in size to that of a mid-sized car.
The 2007 model has some styling pizzazz, which the Sentra was not noted for in the past. The model has other features beside great mileage to recommend it for purchase. The car is roomy and gives a comfortable ride. The upscale version is still priced in the economy range and yet provides some very nice options
The Sentra is a four-door sedan and is powered by a high fuel efficiency engine
The MPG rating is a very good 28/34 city and highway. A review of its driving characteristics stated the model was very quiet and provided better than average performance for the mid-sized sedan. The changes since it first appeared have made it a solid choice in the economy sedan market.
