Since 2003, the Pontiac Vibe has been manufactured by General Motors in conjunction with Toyota. The vehicle appears much like a sporty four-door hatchback. It is driven by a 126 horsepower 1.8L VVT-i four-cylinder engine, which provides increased output for a breathtaking performance. The Vibe handles well, thanks to power rack-and-pinion steering combined with a front independent and rear torsion beam suspension. Standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, front-wheel steer and five-speed manual transmission. Four-speed electronically controlled automatic overdrive transmission is optional. Inside, the spacious Vibe can snugly hold child car seats as easily as sitting five passengers. Its large storage space can also be increased to a maximum of 54 cubic feet by folding forward the rear seats, providing sufficient space for holding more equipment or luggage. Another thoughtful addition is a two-prong 115 volt electric outlet, which means personal electronics such as cell phones and laptops can be easily charged. Overall, the Pontiac Vibe is a vehicle with a clean design and extraordinary utility."
