The Saturn Corporation, a division of General Motors responsible for the production of the Saturn ION, the S series, the Astra, and the Relay, recently began the manufacture of the Outlook, a sports utility vehicle built to replace the Relay. The Relay did not sell well and was discontinued in 2007 and the Outlook was engineered to fill the line up of current Saturn offerings. The Outlook is offered with two different trims, two similar engines, and a single choice in terms of transmission selection.
The Outlook is assembled in Michigan with a six-speed transmission and a 3.6 Liter engine configuration. The trim level selected determines the amount of horsepower one receives. The XE is the base level with 270 horsepower while the XR offers a bit more horsepower at 275 hp. The Outlook is spacious, seats eight, has four doors and a convenient fifth door for cargo access.
