The Toyota Matrix model is a sporty design with economy and sleek styling as key elements to attract the buyer. General Motors and Toyota formed a partnership and came out with the Matrix. It is a compact hatchback that offers the buyer fuel economy and a nice handling car. The fuel economy comes in at an impressive 30 MPG city driving and 36 MPG highway driving.
GM's Pontiac Vibe is very similar to the Matrix, which comes from the partnership with Toyota. The 2008 model year will find this model stopped in favor of another model the Blade. Both Toyota and GM scored with this compact hatchback, so the buying public was given two choices for their hatchback needs.
