The multinational Japanese car manufacturer, Suzuki, has 15 manufacturing plants in 14 countries. The company offers a wide variety of vehicles, including small SUVs, Keicars, ATVs, motorcycles, wheel chairs and more.
The company was founded by Michio Suzuki in 1909 as the Suzuki Loom Corporation " building weaving looms for the booming silk industry in Japan. After 120 patents and model rights for the looms, the founder looked to expand his enterprise. In 1937, he began making innovative prototype vehicles; however production ground to a halt with the start of the Second World War. When the war concluded, he made the Power Free " a motorized bicycle, and thus with his ingenious invention the Suzuki Motor Corporation was born
Today, there are many of their vehicles on the roads, primarily motorcycles and SUVs in the United States and Canada; however their smaller cars are also widely popular around the world.
