Buyer's Guide

Aston Martin

Aston Martin is on a roll right now, amplified by a partnership with Daimler AG and the folks at Mercedes-Benz. The AMG-engined Vantage, DB11 grand tourer, stunning DBS Superleggera, and the first-ever DBX SUV have all impressed us. Mid-engine hypercars named Valkyrie and Valhalla serve as halo cars for the brand.

Least Expensive: With a starting price of just over $150,000, the Vantage packs a twin-turbo V-8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG. As of 2021, it comes standard with a dogleg seven-speed manual transmission.

Sportiest: The limited-production Valkyrie was built with help from Red Bull's Formula 1 racing program, the tuning masters at Cosworth, and battery experts from Rimac. The result is 1,160 hp from a hybridized 6.5-liter V-12 in a road car that looks and performs like a race car.
